With over 10 years of experience spanning both accounting and finance, Byron is a strategic financial leader who specializes in building end-to-end financial functions from the ground up. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Irvine, and an MS in Finance & Economics from West Texas A&M University. 

Byron has led finance and accounting at venture-backed software startups as well as an independent K-8 school in San Francisco, consistently helping organizations establish strong accounting controls while also driving forward-looking financial strategy. His experience includes everything from general ledger design, audits, and automated AP/AR workflows to budgeting, forecasting, fundraising, and M&A due diligence. He is particularly skilled at implementing modern systems, collaborating cross-functionally with go-to-market and operations, and creating reporting that leadership and boards can act on with confidence.
